StoryCorps is Born

StoryCorps marks two decades of preserving the voices of everyday Americans, evolving from a makeshift booth in Grand Central Terminal into a national institution with nearly 700,000 recorded conversations archived at the Library of Congress. Founded by Dave Isay to celebrate the "uncelebrated," the project provides a sanctuary for intimate, transformative dialogue that often remains inaccessible in the noise of daily life.
